Smartphone major Xiaomi has announced that it will unveil the 11i series on January 6 in India. The series is said to consist of Xiaomi 11i and Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge smartphones. Ahead of the official launch, the series has been listed on e-commerce site Flipkart.
The webpage on Flipkart teases some of the features that will come with the upcoming series. It reveals that the smartphone will come with 120watt fast charging technology. It is claimed to charge the device up to 100% in 15 minutes.
Smartphones under Xiaomi 11i series will feature 120Hz FHD+ AMOLED screen with Dolby Atmos. The handset will feature a quad camera on the back. The Flipkart web page reveals that the phone will offer a 108MP primary rear camera.
The page also shows gradient colour design on the rear side. It also reveals that the handset will come powered by MediaTek processor. It does not reveal the name of the chipset though. As teased on Flipkart, the phone will have four colour options that will be revealed in the coming days.
Xiaomi 11i series: What to expect
Xiaomi 11i is said to be the rebranded versions of the Redmi Note 11 Pro and Redmi Note 11 Pro+ smartphones which the company launched in China in October last year. It is expected that the company will launch the same variants in India.
Xiaomi 11i and Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge may come with a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with 1080×2400 pixel resolution with 120Hz refresh rate. The displays of the smartphones may be protected with a coating of Corning Gorilla Glass5 on top. The duo may come powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 920 processor.
