2022 MG ZS EV price in India, availability

The Excite trim is the lower of the two and starts at Rs 21.99lakhs (ex-showroom) before subsidies while the higher-spec Exclusive trim is priced at Rs 25.88lakhs (ex-showroom) before subsidies. The Exclusive variant of the 2022 MG ZS EV will be available now while the Excite variant will follow next, July onwards.
Exterior changes
The 2022 MG ZS EV brings in a host of updates to the exterior styling and is now comparable to the model sold in international markets. The 2022 MG ZS EV gets redesigned front fascia with a more minimalistic yet angular design. MG has finally got rid of the faux grille and instead has now been blanked out with a textured pattern forming the part of the front bumper and should aid aerodynamics. The headlamp internals has been rearranged with new LED elements including a new DRL. Lower down the front bumper, there is a central air dam and side vertical air intakes which should help this EV cut through the air better.
The side profiles have been visually aided with the inclusion of a new set of 17-inch alloys. The rear end styling too has been tweaked and now receives a redesigned tail lamp and bumper assembly.
Interior changes
On the inside, the 2022 MG ZS EV derives its dashboard from its ICE sibling, the MG Astor. The freshness continues to the inside and the 2022 MG ZS EV benefits from the centre armrest for the rear seats, individual cup-holders, centre headrest, and rear AC vents.
Powertrain changes
The 2022 MG ZS EV benefits from a higher claimed range of 461km from its 50.3 kWh battery pack and 174bhp PMMC motor. This is an upgrade over the current generation car’s 419km claimed range. The 2022 MG ZS EV also delivers a quick 0-100kmph time of just 8.5 seconds.
Features upgrade
The 2022 MG ZS EV upgrades its older 8-inch infotainment with its new 10.1-inch display and supports Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity. The car now also gets a Bluetooth key functionality over and above features like a panoramic sunroof, powered driver’s seat, automatic headlamps with wipers, connected car technology, six airbags, hill start/descent control, and electronic stability control that were already available on the car.
