5G in Gurgaon: Airtel 5G Plus service launched in Gurugram: Full list of locations and how to enable 5G |

Airtel started the phased roll out of Airtel 5G Plus services in some cities in the country last month. The telecom operator already offers 5G services in six cities and now it has begun the Airtel 5G Plus roll out in Gurugram.
Currently operational at DLF Cyber Hub, DLF Phase 2, MG Road, Rajiv Chowk, Iffco Chowk, Atlas Chowk, Udyog Vihar, Nirvana Country, Gurugram railway station, Civil lines, Ardee city, Huda city center, Gurugram National Highway and few other select locations. The service provider also mentioned that the 5G service is available for the users at no extra cost.
Nidhi Lauria, CEO, Bharti Airtel, Delhi – NCR said, “I am thrilled to announce the launch of Airtel 5G Plus in Gurugram. Airtel customers can now experience ultrafast network and enjoy speeds up to 20-30 times faster than the current 4G speeds. We are in the process of lightning the entire city which will allow customers to enjoy superfast access to High-definition video streaming, gaming, multiple chatting, instant uploading of photos and more.”
Airtel also mentioned earlier that by the end of this year, the telecom operator will launch the 5G services in all the other key metros. Customers who have 5G smartphones will enjoy the high-speed Airtel 5G Plus on their existing data plans until the roll out is more widespread.

Airtel has also updated its Thanks app which now allows users to check 5G compatibility of their smartphone.
