While most smartphones on the market offer fast charging support between 10W to 33W, this article is only concerned with smartphones that offer blazing-fast charging speeds over 65W. Xiaomi recently launched its 11i Hypercharge smartphone with 120W fast charging support in the market and while it is the first phone with 100W+ fast charging in India, it certainly won’t be the last. Without wasting any time, let’s get into the list of upcoming phones in India that feature amazing charging speeds.

iQOO 9 – 120W fast charging

iQOO 9 houses a 4,700mAh battery with 120W fast-charging support. The company claims the 120W fast charger can charge the iQOO 9 from 0-100 in 19 mins. Under the hood, the phone is powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor. The handset flaunts a 120Hz AMOLED display for a smooth and crispy viewing experience. As for the cameras, the handset has a triple camera setup at the rear, including a 50MP primary sensor, a 13MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 12MP depth sensor. On the front, it has a 16MP snapper for selfies and video calls.

Not much is known about the Indian launch of iQOO 9 at the moment, but we expect to learn more about it in the upcoming weeks. iQOO 9 is expected to retail at Rs 47,000 in India. 

iQOO 9 Pro – 120W fast charging

iQOO 9 Pro is the most premium flagship offering from the iQOO’s 9 series. The handset boasts a 4,700mAh battery with 120W fast-charging support, which the company claims to charge a dead iQOO 9 Pro to 100 per cent in 19 mins.

Under the hood, it packs the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC. The device houses a 120Hz AMOLED display. It comes with a triple camera setup including a 50MP primary sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 16MP portrait sensor. On the front, it has a 16MP snapper for selfies and video calls. 

iQOO 9 Pro is expected to debut soon in India, alongside the iQOO 9. iQOO 9 Pro price in India is expected to be around Rs 53,000.

OnePlus 9RT – 65W fast charging

OnePlus 9RT is one of the most anticipated smartphones of 2021. The device is said to replace the OnePlus 9R. The handset will draw power from a 4,500mAh battery and will support a 65W Warp Charger. The phone has been claimed to charge up from 0-100 percent in just 29 minutes.

OnePlus 9RT is said to be powered by the 5nm octa-core Snapdragon 888 SoC, paired to up to 12GB RAM. The device comes with a triple camera setup, including a 50MP primary camera, a 16MP wide-angle lens, and a macro lens. On the front, it has a 16MP sensor. Rumours suggest the 65W Warp charger can fuel up 9RT to 100 per cent in 29 mins.

The 9RT will debut on later today alongside the OnePlus Buds Z2 TWS. It is said to launch at a Rs 40,000 price tag in India.

Realme GT 2 – 65W fast charging

Realme’s VP, Madhav Sheth, has officially confirmed that the Realme GT 2 will soon launch in India. The GT 2 packs a 5,000mAh battery with support for 65W fast charging, which the company claims to charge the GT 2 to 100 per cent in 33 minutes.

Realme GT 2 flaunts a 6.62-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The handset features Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC and a triple camera setup. Realme GT 2 houses a triple camera setup, including a 50MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP micro-sensor. It has a 16MP front-facing camera for selfies and video chats. The Realme GT 2 could debut as early as February 2022 in India. It is expected to debut at a price of Rs 32,000 in India. 

Realme GT 2 Pro – 65W fast charging

The Realme GT 2 Pro is the brand’s most expensive smartphone in the Realme GT lineup. The handset boasts a 5,000mAh battery with 65W fast charging support. Similar to the GT 2, the GT 2 Pro is advertised to boost the device to 100 per cent in 33 mins.

Realme GT 2 Pro has a 6.67-inch WQHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The Realme GT 2 Pro features Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 flagship SoC. As far as cameras are concerned, it houses a triple camera setup, including a 50MP primary sensor, a 50MP secondary sensor, and a 2MP sensor. On the front, it has a 32MP snapper.

Realme GT 2 Pro could debut in February 2022, alongside other Realme GT handsets. Realme GT 2 Pro is said to retail at Rs 42,000 in India.

Motorola Edge 30 Ultra (Edge X) – 68W fast charging

Motorola Edge 30 Ultra/Edge X is set to launch in China in February 2022 and could even make its way to India later in the year. The handset is expected to pack a 5,000mAh battery with support for 68W fast charging. Rumour suggests the 68W fast charging is capable to charge the handset to 100 per cent in 35 mins.

Motorola Edge 30 Ultra/Edge X is said to feature Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC, 12GB RAM, 144Hz OLED display. It is said to come with a triple camera setup, including a 50MP primary camera, a 50MP secondary camera and a 2MP third camera. On the front, it could feature a whopping 60MP selfie shooter. Motorola Edge 30 Ultra/Edge X price in India is expected to be Rs 69,999.

Xiaomi 11T Pro – 120W fast charging

Xiaomi’s premium “HyperPhone” Xiaomi 11T Pro is heading to India. The device was launched in China in October 2021, and now it is ready to make its way to the Indian smartphone market. The 11T Pro houses a 5,000mAh battery with 120W fast charging. The company claims 120W fast charging can charge the 11T Pro from 0-72 per cent in 10 minutes, 0-100 per cent in 17 minutes.

Under the hood, the handset packs a Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 888 SoC with 12GB RAM. It comes with a triple camera setup, including a 108MP primary camera, an 8MP wide-angle camera, and a 5MP macro camera. At the front, the 11T Pro has a 16MP camera for selfies and video calls. Xiaomi 11T Pro is rumoured to retail at Rs 55,000 in India.

OnePlus 10 Pro – 80W fast charging

OnePlus 10 Pro has debuted today in China and will later this year make its way to the global smartphone market, including India. The handset is powered by a 5,000mAh battery that supports 80W SuperVOOC wired charging, 50W AirVOOC wireless charging, and reverse charging support. The company has claimed that the phone can be charged up from 0-100 percent in 32 minutes.

As far as specs are concerned, it packs a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC paired with up to 12GB RAM. OnePlus 10 Pro comes with a triple camera setup, including a 48MP primary sensor, a 50MP ultrawide lens, and an 8MP telephoto camera. On the front, it has a 32MP selfie shooter. The price of the OnePlus 10 Pro is said to be Rs 55,000 in India.

OPPO Find X4 Pro – 125W fast charging

OPPO Find X4 series is expected to debut in 2022. The device is said to come with 80W charging support. The upcoming OPPO Find X series will be the successor of the OPPO Find X3 series. The Find X4 is rumoured to be powered by the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen1 chipset. The handset is expected to house a quad camera setup. The phone series could launch with the OPPO Find X5 name due to a strong Chinese belief that the number ‘4′ is unlucky. The price of the device is expected to be Rs 70,000 in India.
