The component shortage for electronics and supply chain bottlenecks seems to have started hurting consumers in India now. Recently several brands including Xiaomi, Realme, Oppo, Samsung and others have increased the prices of their phones and other devices. “Since the last one year, we have witnessed shortages across the supply chain. Due to massive demand-supply mismatch, the majority of components used in smartphones, Smart TV and other electronic gadgets (chipsets, display panels, display driver, back panels, battery, etc.) have seen constant upward movement in their prices,” a Xiaomi spokesperson said after the recent price hike in a statement. Oppo A11k: Price increased by Rs 500
