Cyberpunk 2077 set to return to PlayStation Store on June 21st | 91mobiles.com
Cyberpunk 2077 was ceremoniously booted off the PlayStation Store after its less than ideal performance on previous-generation consoles such as the PS4. Sony and CD Projekt Red seem to have resolved their differences at long last. Cyberpunk 2077 is set for a relaunch on the PlayStation Store on June 21st and the game has been listed with the ‘just announced’ tag. However, this could be a classic ‘too little, too late’ move as Cyberpunk 2077’s reputation has been damaged due to a disappointing launch last year.
Cyberpunk 2077’s return comes after multiple patches and hotfixes for the game, Polygon reports. It seems CD Projekt Red has improved the performance of the game on the last-generation console. However, Sony has reportedly cautioned users against playing the game on the base PS4 until the developer fixes more issues. CD Projekt Red is looking to win back some fans by promising free DLC for Cyberpunk 2077. That could breathe some new life into the otherwise tepid story.

Despite all the (rightfully deserved) flak it has received, there is still hope for Cyberpunk 2077. CD Projekt Red’s previous masterpiece, The Witcher 3, also took years to mature into the game it is today. That, however, will require CD Projekt Red to regularly top the game up with content for years on end. Then again, if No Man’s Sky can make a recovery after its disastrous launch, so can Cyberpunk 2077.
