POCO F3 GT price in India and colour variants teased ahead of launch | 91mobiles.com

We exclusively reported earlier that the POCO F3 GT would be launched in India sometime in early August. Some teasers showed up online, too, which gave us an idea about the POCO F3 GT design. Now, POCO India head Anuj Sharma has shed some light on the POCO F3 GT price in India. In an interview with India Todayhe stated that the smartphone will cost ‘around Rs 30,000’ in India. That is significantly more expensive than the OnePlus Nord 2, which is also expected to launch with similar specs and start at Rs 31,999. It will also be one of the more expensive POCO smartphones launched to date.

POCO F3 GT colour variants

The official POCO India Twitter handle also confirmed that the POCO F3 GT will be available for purchase in two colour variants: Predator Black and Gunmetal Silver. It is unclear if new colourways will be added at this point.

POCO F3 GT specifications

It is abundantly clear at this point that the POCO F3 GT is little more than a Redmi K40 Game Enhanced Edition intended for Indian shores. Multiple teasers have already told us that the smartphone will ship with a MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC. Anuj also confirmed in the aforementioned interview that the POCO F3 GT would feature a 120Hz AMOLED panel, presumably the same one found on the Redmi K40 variant. However, POCO could cut down the POCO G3 GT’s charging speed down a notch. Rumour has it that the 5,000mAh battery will only support 30W fast charging. Moving on to optics, the POCO F3 GT packs a 64MP primary sensor, 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2MP macro lens. A 16MP module handles selfies and video calls. We can expect it to run Android 11 customised with POCO UI on top.
