Twitter makes logging in more secure for Android and iOS users
According to a report by 9to5Mac, Twitter is now allowing users to sign in using their Apple or Google accounts as long as the emails are the same. The feature appeared last month in the Twitter beta and the company has now started its public rollout.
Talking about this new functionality, Twitter Support posted, “sign on with ease and start scrolling your timeline. Now, when you log in or sign up to join the conversation on Twitter, you have the option to use: ▪️ Your Google Account on the app and on web ▪️ Or your Apple ID on iOS, and soon on web.”

This new feature also allows users to log in or create an account using their existing details. With this new feature in place, users will no longer have to fill in the basic information like your name and email address. Along with this, it will also negate the password requirement.
In case you already have a Twitter account then you can utilise your Google or Apple Account email to log in and omit the step of entering the password. On the other hand, if you don’t have a Twitter account, then you can create one using your Google or Apple sign-in option.
Last week, Twitter rolled out a new feature that will inform the user if their account has been locked or suspended. Twitter is testing a new notices feature that will tell if you have been locked or suspended for violating Twitter rules.
The notices will show up as a banner on the top of your Twitter feed. As reported by The Verge, Twitter is presently testing this feature with a small percentage of Twitter users on Android, iOS and Web.
