Samsung Galaxy S21 FE: Samsung ‘officially leaks’ Galaxy 21 FE ahead of Unpacked 2021 | – Times of India
While Samsung is getting ready to unveil new foldable phones, earbuds and smartwatches at the Galaxy Unpacked event on August 11, the company is also eyeing the budget smartphone segment with the new Galaxy S21 FE. While there’s no official word about the launch from the company, Samsung officially took to Instagram to ‘leak’ the device and later deleted the post.
The S21FE was spotted in purple colour along with Galaxy Buds and a high-end Galaxy tablet in the post mentioning #BackToSchool on Instagram. While the post was deleted soon, the device got the attention online.
Samsung had recently launched the 5G version of the Galaxy S20FE powered by the Snapdragon 865 chipset rather than Samsung’s own Exynos. This time, with the Galaxy S21 FE, Samsung will include a triple camera module at the back.
The Galaxy S21 FE was previously speculated to launch in August but Samsung may reportedly take more time to launch the Galaxy S21FE smartphone and may launch in the last quarter of 2021. The Galaxy S21 FE is an important mid-range flagship for the company which can help Samsung grab quick market share. The FE series of phones are usually a stripped down variant of the flagship device but core features like premium chipsets, camera and other software features are retained.
Samsung Galaxy S21 FE is said to sport a 6.4-inch AMOLED display. The display is also expected to house a 32MP punch-hole selfie camera. The smartphone is expected to be either powered by Exynos 2100 or Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC. The handset is said to be backed by a 4,500 mAh battery.
