Mi 11T, which is expected to be the successor to the last year’s Xiaomi Mi 10T, has been part of leaks and rumours for some time now but a new leak has shed more details regarding the upcoming smartphone from Xiaomi. Twitter handle @xiaomiui has shared that the Mi 11T has been internally codenamed AMBER by the brand, while another variant of the handset, which has been codenamed AGATE, will be rebranded as Redmi K40 Ultra in China. As you might have guessed, both these handsets seem to share some core specifications but the variant that is eventually expected to be Redmi K40 Ultra has been tipped to offer a different camera setup compared with the alleged Mi 11T.

Mi 11T leaked specifications

As per the tweet shared by @xiaomiui, the Mi 11T will feature a 120Hz display with a 20:9 aspect ratio. While the name of the processor that will power the handset has not been revealed in the tweet, the Mi 11T is said to be fuelled by a MediaTek chipset. As far as optics are concerned, the Mi 11T is said to feature a triple camera setup at the back, comprising a 64MP OmniVision OV64B primary shooter, a Sony IMX355 wide-angle camera, and finally, a tele-macro camera that will reportedly offer 3x zoom.

Redmi K40 Ultra specifications

Just like the Mi 11T, the Redmi K40 Ultra has also been tipped to feature a 120Hz display with a 20:9 aspect ratio and be powered by a MediaTek chipset but the main difference is in the camera department. The Redmi K40 Ultra is said to pack a 108MP Samsung HM2 primary camera, a Sony IMX355 wide-angle lens, and finally a tele-macro camera with 3x zoom.
