The Redmi 10 smartphone is official. The handset was launched by the Chinese consumer technology giant in multiple storage variants as a budget smartphone offering. The specs of the Redmi 10 smartphone are of a typical budget handset.
Redmi 10 price and availability
The Redmi 10 smartphone comes in three variants — 4GB+64GB, 4GB+128GB and 6GB+128GB priced at $179 (approximately Rs 13,200), $199 (approximately Rs 14,700) and $219 (approximately Rs 16,200) respectively.
The Redmi 10 smartphone will go on sale on Xiaomi’s official sales channels from August 20, the company.
As of now, there is no word on the India launch or availability of the Redmi 10 handset but we expect it to come to the Indian market soon. Last year, Redmi 9 was launched in the country in August at a starting price of Rs 8,999.
Redmi 10 specifications and features
Running on MIUI 12.5 based on Android 11 out of the box, the Redmi 10 smartphone offers a display of 6.5-inch FHD+ screen of 2400x1080p resolution with a punch hole camera and a 90Hz refresh rate.
The Redmi 10 smartphone comes powered by 2.0GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio G88 processor. On the storage front, the device offers up to 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage.
For imaging duties, the Redmi 10 has a quad-camera setup on the back. The primary camera is a 50MP sensor, which is paired with an 8MP ultra-wide angle camera, a 2MP macro camera and a 2MP depth sensor.
Backed by a 5000mAh battery, the Redmi 10 comes with 18W fast charging support and in the box is accompanied with an in-box 22.5W charger.
Measuring 161.95 x 75.53 x 8.92mm and weighing 181 grams, the smartphone comes in three colour options — Carbon Gray, Pebble White, Sea Blue.
