BenQ Laser TV: BenQ launches ‘V6000/V6050’ 4K Laser TV: Price, features and more

Benq has announced the launch of V6000/V6050, an ultra-short throw 4K Laser TV (Laser projection TV) in India. The laser TV comes with the option of 100/120 inch ALR screen (Ambient light rejection screen) and the latest 32GB Apple TV device at a price tag of Rs 4,99,000 (tax paid).
The laser projection TV, the company claims, will provide True 4K image quality, wide color range performance on a Large ALR screen (100/120 inches) which comes along with the projector as a package deal for your living room.
The BenQ V6000/V6050 4K Laser TV is a High-Brightness 3000 Lumens 4K Ultra short throw Laser Projector with 98% of the DCI-P3 color space coverage and gives HDR PRO image quality with TreVolo Speakers, motion sensor for eye protection, automatic sunroof slider. It comes with Laser light source which guarantees minimum light source life of up to 30,000 hours. Utilising a laser light source it generates 3000 lumens brightness along with an ALR screen.
The V6000/V6050 comes with an automatic sunroof slider which automatically closes when the projector is not in use, avoiding dust build-up and exposure of the lens. The laser TV also gives you connectivity options for external speakers through Optical out/HDMI (eARC) and other connectivity options include 2 HDMI ports, 3 USB reader ports and 1 Optical Out RS232.
The company claims that the ultra short throw V6000/6050 can project a 100-inch diagonal screen size from only under 23 inches approx. from the wall (the total screen size ranges from 70- to 120-inch diagonally with the help of an integrated screen size measuring tool).
Laser 4K Resolution with 98% DCI-P3 Color Gamut
As per Benq, V6000/V6050 delivers true 4K UHD picture quality with 3840×2160 pixels resolution and 98% DCI-P3 color gamut. The laser TV comes with Cinematic Color technology meant to utilise optimal colors to bring out accurate colour performance. The HDR-PRO technology (HDR10 and HLG formats) in V6000/6050 incorporates auto color and tone mapping techniques for superior brightness and contrast ranges as well as ideal image optimization, claims BenQ. Furthermore, the V6000/V6050 uses advanced motion estimation and compensation technology called MEMC to make videos more fluid, compensate for motion blur and slow-motion effects. It also supports 3D content viewing.
BenQ offers installation support and 3 years onsite warranty on the projector and 3 years or 15,000 hours on light source.
