Plenty of new smartphones are launching in India next week, starting from September 27th. Samsung is launching its mid-range 5G phones, namely Galaxy M52 5G and the Galaxy F42 5G. Chinese manufacturers Xiaomi, Vivo, and iQOO are also launching new phones in India. The Xiaomi 11 Lite NE 5G, Vivo X70 series, and the iQOO Z5 will be unveiled this coming week. iQOO Z5 5G – September 27th
The iQOO Z5 is a 5G smartphone that’s launching in India next week on Monday, September 27th. It should be available for purchase on Amazon India during the upcoming Amazon Great Indian Festival sale. This phone is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 778G chipset and will feature a triple rear camera setup. A teaser for the phone has leaked the rear design, which shows a side-mounted fingerprint scanner as well. Samsung’s Galaxy M52 5G will be launching in India on Tuesday, September 28th and will be available on Amazon India. The phone will likely get a 6.7-inch FHD+ sAMOLED display, a 5,000mAh battery with 15W charging, a USB Type-C port, Bluetooth 5.1, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. As for the rear cameras, the phone will get a 64-megapixel main sensor and a 32-megapixel front camera.
Samsung Galaxy F42 5G – September 29th
The Galaxy F42 5G India launch date has been scheduled for Wednesday, September 29th, and the launch will happen at 12 PM on the same day. The Galaxy F42 is said to be a rebadged Galaxy Wide5. This 5G mid-range phone supports 12 5G bands and is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC. The Samsung phone comes with an FHD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate. Motorola Edge 20 Pro – October 1st
Motorola will be finally launching the Edge 20 Pro 5G smartphone in India on Friday, October 1st. A landing page for the device is already live on Flipkart, and the launch is scheduled for 12 PM. The Edge 20 Pro is powered by the Snapdragon 870 chipset, which is paired with up to 8GB RAM, and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The phone will get a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with 144Hz refresh rate and 576Hz touch sampling rate with 10-bit color support. It features a 108-megapixel triple rear camera setup, and a 32-megapixel front facing camera. A 4,500mAh battery is available on the phone, which supports 30W fast charging.
Vivo X70 series India launch – September 30th
Vivo is launching the X70 series in India next week, which includes the Vivo X70, X70 Pro, and the X70 Pro Plus. The launch is scheduled for Thursday, September 30th at 12 PM. The standard Vivo X70 and the Pro variants will come with a 6.56-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The standard variant will get a MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC, whereas the Pro model comes with an Exynos 1080 chipset. In the camera department, the X70 gets a 40-megapixel triple rear camera setup, whereas the X70 Pro has a 50-megapixel quad camera setup. As for batteries, the X70 houses a 4,400mAh unit, while the X70 Pro comes with a 4,450mAh cell. Both devices support 44W fast charging.

The Xiaomi 11 Lite NE 5G is another smartphone that’ll be heading to Indian shores next week. It’s scheduled to launch on Wednesday, September 29th, and is the first non-Mi-branded smartphone in India. The Xiaomi 11 Lite NE 5G is a mid-ranger that’s equipped with the Snapdragon 778G chipset. It gets a 6.55-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution, 90Hz refresh rate, 8GB RAM, 256GB storage, and microSD card slot. The phone features a super slim and light design while carrying a triple rear camera setup with a 64-megapixel main sensor. There’s a 20-megapixel camera at the front, a 4,250mAh battery with 33W fast charging, Bluetooth 5.2, Wi-Fi 6, and stereo speakers.
