Poco C31 to launch in India on September 30, appears on Flipkart

Poco is set to expand its C-series smartphone range in India with the launch of Poco C31. The handset will be unveiled via a virtual event scheduled for September 30 at 12. Walmart-owned Flipkart has created a microsite of the device. The smartphone is expected to go on sale during the upcoming Big Billion Days sale.
Poco C31 will join the Poco C3 which was launched in October last year. Poco C3 is an entry-level smartphone. It was launched with a price tag of Rs 7,499 in 2020.
While the Flipkart teaser page does not reveal any spec of the Poco C31, it gives a first look at the phone. It will offer a waterdrop style notch at the front with thinner side bezels. The page states that the smartphone will come with a long lifespan battery. It is claimed to deliver 25% longer lifespan than others.
Poco C3: Specs
Poco C3 has a 6.53-inch HD+ screen of 1600x720p resolution with a waterdrop notch and 20:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by a MediaTek Helio G35 octa-core processor and runs on MIUI 12-based on Android 10 out of the box.
The handset comes with a two-tone pattern on the back panel. It offers up to 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. The device is backed by a 5,000mAh battery. Poco C3 is said to deliver 14 hours of gaming, 31 hours of video playback watching and 37 VoLTE hours of calling.
On the camera front, the smartphone has a triple-camera setup on the back. It comprises a 13MP primary sensor (f/2.2 aperture), a 2MP depth sensor and a 2MP macro camera. For selfies, the phone has a 5MP camera at the front.
