Oppo A55 launched with MediaTek Helio G35 and 5,000mAh battery – Times of India
Ahead of the festive season, Oppo has launched another affordable price category phone in India. Dubbed Oppo A55, the smartphone comes powered by MediaTek Helio G35 processor and offers up to 6GB RAM with up to 128GB internal storage. It will be available on Amazon during the Great Indian Festival sale.
Oppo A55 price and offers
Oppo A55 has two variants. The base model packs 4GB RAM with 64GB storage, and is priced at Rs 15,490. Another model comes with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. Its price has been set to Rs 17,490.
While the 4GB RAM model will go on sale on October 3, the 6GB RAM variant will be available on October 7. Rainbow Blue and Starry Black are the two colour options of the phone.
Launch offers include Rs 3,000 discount on purchases made using HDFC Bank cards. Buyers will also get a three months Prime subscription on the phone’s purchase. Also, Prime members will be eligible for free screen replacement. No-cost EMI for six months will also be available.
Offers on offline stores include cashback of upto Rs 3,000 and no-cost EMI options. There is also a 10% discount for customers of Axis Bank, Bank of Baroda, and Kotak Mahindra Bank.
Oppo A55 specifications
Oppo A55 houses a 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast charge support. The smartphone has a 6.51-inch HD+ screen with a 20:9 aspect ratio and a 89.2% screen-to-body ratio.
Powered by MediaTek Helio G35 octa-core processor, the phone runs on ColorOS 11.1 based on Android 11 operating system. It features a 16MP camera at the front for selfies.
On the rear, the smartphone sports a 50MP primary camera, a 2MP portrait lens and a 2MP macro sensor. Oppo A55 comes with up to 128GB of internal storage that is expandable up to 256GB using a microSD card.
