Apple AirPods 3 unveiled with new design, better battery life

Apple has finally taken the wraps off the much-awaited 3rd generation AirPods. The new TWS earbuds look similar to the currently sold AirPods Pro but without the silicon tips. They come with shorter stems and a redesigned charging case. It also features the same intuitive force sensor as seen on the Pro model for media control.Powered by the H1 chip, the new AirPods come with Spatial Audio support. The company claims that the earbuds use computational audio to deliver sound with Adaptive EQ and it allows users to enjoy spatial audio featuring Dolby Atmos in Apple Music, movies, and tv shows, along with dynamic head tracking, across Apple devices.
With a one-touch setup that automatically pairs AirPods with other Apple devices, users can effortlessly enjoy music throughout the day. Audio Sharing allows listeners to share the audio stream between two sets of AirPods, AirPods Pro, or AirPods Max, while using iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, or Apple TV.
In terms of battery, the AirPods are claimed to have a playback time of up to 6 hours without the charging case and up to 30 hours of total listening time with the charging case. Just five minutes of charging provides about an hour of battery life.
