TL;DR
- The Pixel Pass is a new subscription service for people interested in the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro.

- The prices start at $45 a month and will save you money over its two-year commitment.
The new Google Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro smartphones are already reasonably affordable devices. However, Google is dangling a beautiful carrot for people who want to get one of these phones and get some other features bundled into it for one low monthly price for two years. It’s called the Pixel Pass, and it has some pretty nice features.
The Pixel Pass adds a subscription to YouTube Premium, which gets rid of the banner and video ads usually found on the streaming video service, and also throws in background listening, downloadable videos, and access to YouTube Music Premium for listening to millions of ad-free songs. It usually costs $11.99 a month. You also get 200GB of cloud-based storage via Google One, which generally costs $2.99 a month.
Google Game Pass is also included in Pixel Pass. It usually costs $4.99 a month and gives users access to over 350 premium games and apps. Finally, it adds Preferred Care, which will provide Pixel 6 owners a way to replace their phone if it encounters any mechanical or accidental damages for two years. It costs $9 a month for the Pixel 6 Pro and $7 a month for the Pixel 6 (not including any deductibles).
The Pixel Pass costs $45 a month for the Pixel 6 and $55 a month for the Pixel 6 Pro. You can also upgrade to the most recent Pixel after your two years of subscriptions are up. It’s available via the Google Store, and you can also sign up via the Google Fi carrier. If you go for the latter option, you can save an extra $5 a month on your plan, making this deal even more affordable.
