One UI 4.0 third beta update for Samsung Galaxy S21 series now available
The third One UI 4.0 beta update based on Android 12 is now live in South Korea for the Galaxy S21 series and this brings a handful of new improvements and additions over the previous beta build. It also fixes known issues to Bixby, Samsung Keyboard, and overall UI stability have been addressed. Samsung is introducing a redesigned Weather app and interestingly, it doesn’t seem to have ads anymore, as announced by Samsung a couple of months ago. The Weather app also brings new graphics and animations. However, the update is yet to roll out to other markets where the beta program is live.

Samsung hinted at the third One UI 4.0 beta build going live in South Korea this week and kept its promise. Going with the trend, the South Korean giant could stay by its words and release the public One UI 4.0 firmware update before the end of this year. The update fixes system UI force close, calling Bixby on the lock screen, call/text termination, and keyboard shortcut issues. It stabilises the colour theme function and applied the pet lighting effect. It improved the misrecognition of voice commands in the camera app.
The update also reflected the final release of Google AOSP and the overscroll effect has been changed from existing glow to stretch form (changed in Android 12). Nothing has been said about the One UI 4.0 beta update in India but we can expect to hear more shortly.
