Several Xiaomi and Redmi phones tipped to launch in India by December-end, not just Redmi Note 11T


Xiaomi to launch more devices soon

Xiaomi is expected to launch the vanilla Redmi Note 11 from its Redmi Note 11 series as the Redmi Note 11T in India. The budget-oriented device is expected to hit the Indian market on November 30th. However, according to a reliable tipster Mukul Sharma, Xiaomi has scheduled the launch of more devices by the end of the year. 

The other two phones that are expected to launch this year are the Redmi Note 11 Pro and the Redmi Note 11 Pro+. However, the devices will be launching under a different nomenclature in India as we have reported earlier. The Redmi Note 11 Pro will be renamed as the Xiaomi 11i while the Redmi Note 11 Pro+ will be renamed as the Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge. In addition to phones, Xiaomi could announce IoT products as well such as the Redmi Smart Band Pro.

The Xiaomi 11i which is the rebranded Redmi Note 11 Pro will feature a 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The display will come with a hole punch cutout and will house the 16MP selfie shooter. At the back, there will be a triple camera set up with a 108MP Samsung HM2 primary sensor. Powering the device is a  MediaTek Dimensity 920 chipset along with 8GB LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB UFS 3.1 storage. A 5,160mAh battery with 67W fast charging support does duty underneath. The Xiaomi 11i gets Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, 5G, 3.5mm headphone jack, JBL speakers, side-mounted fingerprint sensor, a metal frame, and Android 11 OS with MIUI 12.5 custom skin out of the box.

The Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge comes will be the rebranded Redmi Note 11 Pro+ and will have a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate covered with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus. A hole punch cutout will host a 16MP selfie camera. The rear camera setup is taken care of by a triple camera setup consisting of a 108MP primary camera. Other features include 5G, 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, NFC, an USB Type-C port, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security, JBL powered speakers, stereo speakers, and a metal unibody design. Powering the device is a MediaTek Dimensity 920 chipset paired with up to 8GB LPDDR4x RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage that is further expandable via a microSD card. The Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge also gets a 4,500mAh battery with a whopping 120W fast charging support making it the first Redmi phone to charge at that speed.
