Xiaomi is gearing up for the launch of its Xiaomi 12-series of smartphones. The Xiaomi 12 lineup is said to begin its journey in December itself, December 28th to be precise. The lineup is going to feature a significant number of devices, so the brand will most likely spread the launches across the upcoming months. Xiaomi is tipped to unveil the Xiaomi 12, Xiaomi 12X, and Xiaomi 12 Pro devices in the Chinese market, and today, the Pro variant has been spotted on the 3C certification website. Xiaomi 12 Pro with 120W fast charging visits 3C
As seen in the image above, the Xiaomi 12 Pro (with the model number Xiaomi 2201122C) has recently received the 3C certification. The certification, on top of confirming the fact that it will be a 5G handset, reveals that it will boast of a whopping 120W fast charging support (20Vdc/6A Max). While this is indeed “fast” it should not come as a surprise to many given that the brand has already been able to pull it off with its mid-range Redmi Note 11 lineup in the past.

Xiaomi 12 Pro expected specifications
Coming to the specifications of the device, the Xiaomi 12 Pro is expected to sport a 120Hz refresh rate AMOLED panel with a punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera. The display of the device is rumours to be rounded around the edges. Under the hood, the Xiaomi 12 Pro will be powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset, which will be paired with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS3.1 storage. For optics, the Xiaomi 12 Pro is touted to sport a 50MP primary camera. In terms of battery life, we can expect a 4,500mAh battery alongside 120W fast charging. Lastly, the Xiaomi 12 Pro is said to boot Android 12-based MIUI 13 out of the box.
