NEW DELHI: Vivo is expected to launch its latest Y-series smartphone in India soon. The company has not yet revealed the launch date for the smartphone but it is expected to launch next month.

Now a new leak has surfaced online revealing the expected price and specifications of the smartphone. Vivo Y21T is said to be priced under Rs 20,000 and is expected to be powered by Qyalcomm processor. The company is also expected to launch the smartphone in two different colour options in the country.

According to a tipster, the Vivo Y21T is said to be priced at Rs 16,490. At this price point, the smartphone will compete against the recently launched Redmi Note 11T 5G. The tipster also revealed that the smartphone will come in two colour options in India.

Another tipster Yogesh Brar has also leaked the specifications of the Vivo Y21T smartphone. The promotional poster leaked by the tipster reveals that the upcoming Vivo smartphone will run Android 11 operating system topped with the company’s own layer of FunTouchOS. The smartphone is to feature a 6.58-inch full HD+ display with 1080×2408 pixel resolution and 90.6% screen-to-body ratio.

The smartphone is said to run Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 processor paired with 4GB of RAM. The company is also expected to offer 1GB of virtual RAM with the smartphone.

For imaging duties, the Vivo Y21T is said to sport a triple rear camera setup with 50MP main sensor, 2MP depth sensor and 2MP macro shooter. The smartphone is expected to house an 8MP selfie camera. The smartphone is said to pack 128GB internal storage which can be expanded up to 1TB by adding a microSD card.

As per the leak, the smartphone is said to be backed by a 5000mAh battery with 18W fast charging support.
