Vivo V23 series is now official in India. The company has launched Vivo V23 and Vivo V23 Pro smartphones. One of the major highlights of the series is the colour changing property of the Vivo V23 and Vivo V23 Pro smartphone. Vivo claims that this is the first smartphone to feature a back panel that changes colour when exposed to UV light and sunlight.

Price and availability

Both Vivo V23 Pro and Vivo V23 5G come in two RAM models- 8GB and 12GB paired with 128GB and 256GB storage. The 8GB RAM model of Vivo V23 is priced at Rs 29,990, while the 8GB RAM model costs Rs 34,990. Similarly, Vivo V23 Pro carries a price tag of Rs 38,990 for the 8GB RAM variant. Its 12GB RAM model costs Rs 43,990.

Both the smartphones will be available on Flipkart along with Vivo online store and offline retail stores. Buyers can get 10% instant cashback on the smartphones’ purchase using ICICI Bank cards along with no-cost EMI buying option.

Vivo V23 Pro 5G specs

Vivo V23 Pro 5G comes powered by MediaTek Dimensity 1200 processor paired with up to 12GB RAM and up to 256GB storage capacity. The smartphone runs on FunTouchOS 12 based on Android 12 operating system.

Stardust Black and Sunshine Gold are the colour options of the phone. The handset houses a 4,300mAh battery and comes with a 44watt fast charger. Vivo V23 Pro 5G comes with a 6.56-inch FHD+ AMOLED screen with 2376×1080 pixel resolution.

The device features a glass body and weighs 171 grams. For camera duties, the phone features a triple camera at the back. It has a 108MP main camera (f/1.88 aperture), an 8MP wide-angle (f/2.2 aperture) and a 2MP macro camera (f/2.4 aperture).

For selfies, Vivo V23 Pro 5G is equipped with dual camera sensor paired with 50MP and 8MP wide-angle sensor. Bluetooth version 5.2, USB Type-C, WiFi and GPS are the connectivity features available on the phone.

Vivo V23 5G specs

Vivo V23 5G is equipped with a 6.44-inch FHD+ AMOLED screen with 2400×1080 pixel resolution. The smartphone features a glass body and comes in two colour options — Sunshine Gold and Stardust Black.

It is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 920 octa-core chipset and runs on FunTouchOS 12 based on Android 12 operating system. The handset offers up to 12GB RAM paired with up to 256GB storage capacity.

The device is backed by a 4200mAh battery and comes with 44watt fast charging support. On the camera front, Vivo V23 5G has a dual camera sensor at the front. It consists of a 50MP main camera paired with an 8MP wide-angle camera for selfies. On the rear, the handset boasts of a 64MP primary sensor coupled with an 8MP wide-angle sensor and a 2MP macro sensor.

Connectivity options available on the smartphone are Bluetooth version 5.2, USB Type-C, WiFi, GPS and others. The handset offers an under-display fingerprint scanner.
