Ola S1 final payment window opens January 21st, deliveries in January-February | 91mobiles.com

Those who purchase the scooters on January 21st will get their deliveries in January and February, Aggarwal said.

Ola Electric entered the electric vehicle market in August last year with the launch of its S1 and S1 Pro electric scooters, priced at Rs 99,999 and Rs 1,29,999, respectively. However, it had to postpone the delivery schedules for its much-anticipated scooters due to the ongoing global semiconductor shortage. The scooter is available in ten colours and features an 8.5KW motor and 3.97kWh battery pack manufactured in-house.

The first batch of the Ola S1 was available to book since July 2020, with Rs 499 pre-booking amount; it began the online booking procedure in September. The EV was scheduled to be delivered by October but was delayed to December, when the first batch was successfully delivered by the first week of January 2022.

Last week, Agrawal shared a photo of the daily production of the scooters. He stated, “Futurefactory now producing almost 1000 scooters a day.” He also promised to open another purchase window soon, mentioning in the same tweet, “Opening up purchase window for remaining customers soon. Will share.”
