Realme has started rolling out Android 12 based Realme UI 3.0 update to Realme 8. The company has announced an early access program for the Realme 8 users in India. The application channel will open on January 21, 2022.
Realme says that applications for the program will be accepted in batches and only limited seats are available. “Being an early software program, there might be bugs and some apps might not work properly. It might not be recommended to install the Early Access software on your primary phone”, the company says in a blog post.
How to apply for Realme 8 early access to Realme UI 3.0
- Make sure your Realme 8 has 60%+ battery
- Update your device to the required UI version → RMX3085_11.A.22/ RMX3085_11.A.24
- Apply for the Early access via the Software Update Application channel: Settings → Software Update → Tap on the settings icon in the top right corner → Trial Version → Apply Now → Submit your details and finish the quiz)
Realme 8 was launched last year with a starting price of Rs 14,999. The smartphone has a 6.4- inch Super AMOLED punch hole screen with an in-display fingerprint scanner. The device is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G chipset with Adreno 618 GPU with two RAM options– 6GB of RAM and 8GB of RAM. Rear camera system comprises 108MP main camera with 8MP ultra wide-angle lens + 2MP macro lens + 2MP B&W lens. The device is backed by a 4, 500mAh with support for 50W SuperDart.
