Redmi 10C spotted on certification sites, may launch soon

Redmi 10C has appeared on various certification sites. The smartphone has allegedly been spotted on the US Federal Communications Commission (FCC) certification website along with IMEI database and the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) site.

The FCC listing shows a Redmi phone with model number 220333QNY. It is expected to be the global variant of Redmi 10C. The smartphone may come with Wi-Fi 802.11 a/n/ac and LTE as connectivity options. As per IMEI database, the phone may run on MIUI 13 out-of-the-box.

According to an online report, the Indian variant of Redmi 10C may come with model number 220333QBI. The handset has already received BIS certification, suggesting that the phone may launch in the country soon. The listing, however, does not reveal any information about the upcoming phone.

In January, another Redmi 10 series phone– Redmi 10A was spotted on US FCC and Geekbench websites. It is expected that the smartphone may come with a dual camera setup on the back. The phone may have a 13MP primary rear camera paired with a 2MP secondary camera. The device is said to come in four variants and may run MIUI 12.5. These models could be- 2GB + 32GB, 3GB + 32GB, 3GB + 64GB, and 4GB + 128GB.

Both Redmi 10A and Redmi 10C are expected to come powered by a MediaTek processor. The duo will be entry-level phones and are said to be priced under Rs 12,000.

Recently, the company unveiled Redmi Note 11 and Redmi Note 11S phones in India. The former comes powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 processor, while the later runs on MediaTek G96 chipset.
