oppo: Oppo launches its first Android tablet: All you need to know
NEW DELHI: Oppo Pad is now official. Oppo has launched its first Android tablet — Oppo Pad at an event in China. The tablet comes with an 11-inch display with 120Hz refresh rate. Powered by a Qualcomm processor, the device comes with quad speakers and a 13MP rear camera.
The company has also introduced a smart magnetic keyboard and Oppo pencil. The stylus supports 5g water pressure and 0-60 degree inclination angle. The company claims that it is also the world’s first commercial stylus with USI protocol. The stylus supports wireless charging and promises to deliver 11 hours of battery backup on a single charge. Oppo also claims that with 1 minute of charge users can get 20 minutes of backup. On the other hand, the smart magnetic keyboard supports Bluetooth connection.
Oppo Pad comes in black and purple colour options. The device comes with a starting price tag of 2999 yuan (Rs 27,470). On the other hand, the Oppo Pencil and Oppo SMart magnetic keyboard are priced at Rs 499 yuan (Rs 5,960) and 399 yuan (Rs 4,770) respectively. The Android tablet will go on sale in China March 3. The company has not yet revealed any details about the global roll out.
Oppo Pad specifications
Oppo Pad comes with an 11-inch WQXGA display with 2560×1600 pixel resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The Android tablet is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 chipset paired with 6GB/8GB of RAM.
The device comes in two storage options 128GB and 256GB. Oppo Pad runs Android 11 operating system topped with the company’s own layer of ColorOS 12 for tablets. The Android tablet sports a 13MP rear camera with f/2.2 aperture and 8MP front camera with f/2.0 aperture for video calling.
Oppo Pad comes with quad-speakers tuned by Dolby Atmos and is backed by a 8360 mAh battery with 33W fast charging support.
