Asus 8z with Snapdragon 888 SoC launched in India: Price, specs and more – Times of India

NEW DELHI: Asus 8z is here. Asus has finally launched the Asus 8z smartphone in India after months of delay. Successor to the Asus 6z, the smartphone sports an AMOLED display and is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor. The smartphone comes with 5G support and packs 8GB of RAM. It sports a 64MP main camera and houses a 4000 mAh battery.
Price and availability
Asus 8z comes with a price tag of Rs 42,999 and it can be purchased in Obsidian Black and Horizon Silver colour options. The smartphone will be available online on Flipkart starting March 7.

Asus 8z comes with a 5.9-inch full HD+ display with 1080×2400 pixel resolution. The display offers a 120Hz refresh rate and is protected with a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass Victus on top.
The device is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset paired with 8GB of RAM. The smartphone packs 128GB of internal storage.
Asus 8z comes with dual SIM support and runs Android 11 operating system topped with the company’s own layer of ZenUI 8. The company has also confirmed that the smartphone will receive Android 12 update as well. On the camera front, the smartphone features a dual rear camera. The camera on the back consists of a 64MP main sensor with f/1.8 aperture and a 12MP ultra-wide camera with f/2.2 aperture. The front is home to a 12MP selfie shooter.
Asus 8z comes with an IP68 rating which makes the smartphone dust and water-resistant. The handset comes with triple microphones with OZO audio zoom and Asus noise reduction technology. The smartphone comes equipped with an in-display fingerprint sensor and is backed by a 4000mAh battery with 30W fast charging and Quick Charge 4 support.
