Motorola Edge 30 specifications tipped online, may feature Snapdragon 778G+ SoC and 144Hz display – Times of India
Motorola has recently launched the Motorola Edge 30 Pro in India which went on sale for the first time earlier this month. The premium smartphone from the Lenovo-owned company is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 and was marketed as the ‘cheapest’ flagship device in India. Now, the company is rumoured to expand its Edge series in the country. The company is likely to launch three more smartphones to the Edge series, which includes — the Motorola Edge 30, Edge 30 Lite and Edge 30 Ultra.
Reports suggest that the key specifications of the Motorola Edge 30 have been leaked online and may even arrive sooner than the other two phones in the series. The Motorola Edge 30 will be the successor to the Edge 20, which was launched along with the Edge 20 Pro in October 2021. It is speculated to be a little less premium and even less expensive than the Edge 30 Pro.

As per the reports, Motorola Edge 30 is likely to sport a 6.55-inch P-OLED Full HD+ panel with 144Hz refresh rate support. This smartphone may come powered by a mid-range processor, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G+ processor, backed with up to 8GB RAM and 256GB internal memory.
Motorola Edge 30 is expected to house a triple rear camera setup that will include a 50MP primary camera, a 50MP ultra-wide lens and a 2MP depth assist lens. The smartphone will also feature a 32MP front shooter for selfies and video calls.
The device may pack a 4020mAh battery that will support 30W fast charging and is supposed to run on Android 12 out-of-the-box.
Motorola Edge 30 Ultra expected specifications
The reports also suggest that Motorola may also launch the Edge 30 Ultra soon. This smartphone is expected to sport a 6.67-inch OLED FHD+ display with 144Hz refresh rate support. Alike the Motorola Edge 30 Pro, this smartphone may also come powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip, backed with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. This device may pack a 4500mAh battery with 125W fast charging support and is also likely to run Android 12 out-of-the-box.
