oneplus: OnePlus Pad trademark registered in India, suggesting an imminent launch – Times of India
OnePlus is long rumoured to be working on a tablet, and it might finally see the light of the day soon. First appeared on the Indian trademark portal last year, labelled as “Marked for Exam,” the company has received the approval for the trademark “OnePlus Pad” in India. Also, the tablet has finally entered the internal testing phase in India, according to renowned tipster Mukul Sharma.
The tipster shared a screenshot of the trademark listing, showing the status as “Registered,” meaning that the OnePlus is now allowed to use the moniker OnePlus Pad in India. The trademark was filed back in July last year by OnePlus Technology (Shenzen) Co. Ltd. as the proprietor. The “OnePlus Pad” trademark has also been registered in European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO).
The listing does not reveal anything about the OnePlus Pad, but we have an idea of what to expect from OnePlus’ upcoming tablet, thanks to numerous leaks over the past year.
