Latest OnePlus 11 Pro leaks (updated April 2022)

OnePlus 11 Pro release date

Based on previous years, we can reasonably expect the OnePlus 11 Pro to be released in either January or April of 2023.

While the OnePlus 8 and 9 series were both released in April, the currently newest OnePlus 10 Pro came out in January, so a January release for the OnePlus 11 Pro is a likely speculation.

For reference, below we have for you the previous OnePlus flagship release dates, alongside a speculated release date for the OnePlus 11 Pro.

OnePlus 11 Pro price

We can reasonably expect the OnePlus 11 Pro to launch at a price of $899 for the base model, judging by the company’s pricing model for its previous flagships.

Previously we had the OnePlus 8 Pro starting at $899, after which the next generation OnePlus 9 Pro jumped a bit to $969, only for the current OnePlus 10 Pro to go back to the $899 price point. In fact, optimistically we can expect the OnePlus 11 Pro to even get a bit cheaper.

These are the starting prices for OnePlus’ most recent flagship series for reference:

OnePlus 11 Pro design and camera

Although we’re yet to see more concrete evidence of what the OnePlus 11 Pro will be like, our friends at LetsGoDigital have created the renders you see here based on a 2020 patent filing by OnePlus. The patent suggests that OnePlus could be working on a phone with a striking circular camera design, featuring a camera module that can rotate 180˚, possibly to remain leveled while the user is recording video.

This unique “Camera module and electronic equipment” patent filing by OnePlus and the renders here are all we have right now, in terms of what the OnePlus 11 Pro might look like, and what its camera features could be.

But for reference, below we have the current OnePlus 10 Pro camera specs, as is often common that a new generation would either match or surpass those.

OnePlus 11 Pro display

OnePlus has impressed us with its displays in the past, and in our OnePlus 10 Pro review we called it “gorgeous” for good reason.

That phone has a fantastic 6.7-inch OLED screen with variable refresh rate that can go down to as little as 1Hz, and up to a buttery-smooth 120Hz. It also has HDR support and high PPI (pixels per inch) for a sharp image.

As of right now, we can expect OnePlus to repeat this magic for its upcoming OnePlus 11 Pro, matching or surpassing the 10 Pro display specs, listed below for reference:

OnePlus 11 Pro battery

Based on our experience with past OnePlus flagship, we can reasonably expect a big battery and great battery life from the upcoming OnePlus 11 Pro.

Its predecessor, the 10 Pro had a huge 5,000mAh battery, which itself was a jump from the 9 Pro’s 4,500mAh one.

And in our testing (see the results below) the 10 Pro lasted nearly 11 hours of constant video streaming on a single charge. It lasted even longer in our web browsing text – 13 and a half hours, and as is normal – less, but still a long time in our 3D gaming test – just over 9 hours.
