However, customers planning on purchasing the S1 Pro should know the electric scooter’s price in India has seen a hike by Rs 10,000. This brings the price to Rs 1,39,999. This isn’t a surprise as Ola CEO, Bhavish Agarwal himself confirmed the Rs 1,29,999 price will be hiked in the next booking window.

Ola S1 Pro price in India has been hiked. The new price of the S1 Pro electric scooter is Rs 1,39,999, up from Rs 1,29,999. The new price has been updated on the company’s official website.

Ola S1 Pro specifications, features

The Ola S1 electric scooter comes with a peak power of 8.5kW that can go up to 40kmph in just 3 seconds. It has a top speed of 115kmph and the 3.97KWh battery is claimed to offer a range of 181 kms but the actual reality is around 100-120kms. The digital key feature uses paired phone to automatically lock and unlock the scooter. 

The Ola Electric scooter has a 7-inch touchscreen display that surfaces the speed, range, battery capacity, and much more information. It has multiple microphones and an AI speed recognition algorithm. It boots the in-house MoveOS that is built by Ola Electic and the vehicle control unit (VCU) and is expected to receive MoveOS 2.0 update soon.

The Ola S1 Pro is powered by an octa-core processor coupled with 3GB RAM but Ola is said to be upgrading the Vehicle Control Units with more RAM and storage and is likely to have enough power to sustain updates in future. Connectivity features include 4G, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth connectivity. Additional features on board include an anti-theft alert system, geo-fencing, and the battery is flame retardant in addition to being water and dust resistant.

The Ola S1 Pro comes with 110/70 R12 tyres that have a rear mono-shock suspension and a front single fork suspension. There’s the reverse mode by turning the throttle in the opposite direction and front and rear disk brakes, and Hill-Hold.
