Sony Slate of Play scheduled for June 2

After a wait of two months, Sony announced that the next Slate of Play event is scheduled for June 2. In this edition of Slate of Play, Sony will showcase some of the new title for the PlayStation, and we will also get a sneak peek of the upcoming games for the yet to be announced PlayStation VR2. We don’t know what Sony has in store for us, but the event will have “exciting reveals from our third-party partners” and, as said before, a first look at the games for PlayStation and PSVR2.

This edition of Slate of Play will have 30 minutes of announcements and some new footage from PlayStation studios, and there will be some updates from the third-party developers as well. The event will be live-streamed at 3:30 AM IST on June 2 in India. Audiences across the globe can catch the live stream on YouTube and Twitch.

There is no word on which titles will be making an appearance at the upcoming Slate of Play event. Rumours suggest that Capcom could announce the Street Fighter 6 at the coming edition of Slate of Play. Last week, Sony announced that the PSVR2 would come with at least 20 “major” VR games at launch, and a Horizon spin-off dubbed Horizon Call of the Mountain has already been in the works for a long time. So, there are some chances that we may finally get more details about the new Horizon game and names for these 20 “major” titles.
