WhatsApp rival Telegram rolls out new features: Infinite reactions, Emoji statuses and more – Times of India

WhatsApp rival instant messaging app Telegram has rolled out an update that promises to bring new features and better user experience to the app. These include ‘infinite reactions’, Emoji statuses and more. Some of these were so far available on the app’s paid version – Telegram Premium.
Here are all the new features coming to Telegram
Infinite Reactions
All Telegram users can now access dozens of reactions including those that were previously only available on Telegram Premium, like ???? ???? ????. To accommodate all the emoji reactions the company has revamped the reaction panel making it expandable. The company adds that the most frequently used ‘reaction’ will always appear on the top.
Emoji Statuses for Telegram Premium
The Telegram Premium users can now add an animated emoji status that is displayed next to their name – to quickly let everyone know how they’re feeling or what they’re doing. You can set one of 7 standard statuses that change their color to match different Telegram themes – or choose from an infinite number of custom emoji. The feature is presently available only for the paid users.

Better Login Flow on iOS
Signing up or logging in to Telegram on iOS is now even more streamlined, with new interfaces and fun animations that are already familiar to our Android users. Users will now receive login codes through their email address or using Sign in with Apple or Sign in with Google.
New Username Links
All @usernames on Telegram have their own t.me/username links, making it easy to share your public profile, group or channel anywhere on the internet. Every username now has a new unique link format – username.t.me – for those who want to emphasize their name (or have trouble finding the / key).
Prioritise Downloads on Android
You can now prioritize the downloads on Android. All the downloads appear in the Downloads Tab and you can now press and hold any items in the list to reorder them and change their priority – downloading the top file first.
