On the occasion of the company’s 24th birthday, Google parent Alphabet CEO Sundar Pichai tweeted a photo with cupcakes that had a message card reading ‘Google’s Birthday Cupcakes’. In the tweet he thanked Google employees for their support and said that the company will keep working hard to become more helpful for everyone. “24 years on and we’re still feeling lucky:) Grateful to all of you for your support, and we’ll keep working hard to build a more helpful Google for everyone. Google Inc was officially born in the year 1998. The company was incorporated on 4 September 1998. However, the search engine selected September 27 as its birthday date to mark the announcement of the record number of pages that the search engine was indexing.
