Gmail will now allow you to send an email without the internet | Digit
Gmail is one of the most popular mailing services people use worldwide. According to the reports, approximately 1.8 billion users rely on Gmail for their work and personal use. Moreover, 18 percent of the client market share is owned by Gmail. Also, 75 percent of the users access the Gmail service using mobile phones.
Google is adding a new feature in its mailing service, which will give users the benefit of sending an email in offline mode. Now, you can read, reply and search for emails even when your device is not on any Wifi network or using local data. The innovative feature will work seamlessly in places with no internet connection or low connectivity range. Google’s support page mentioned the offline service of Gmail would only work on the Google Chrome browser and not in incognito mode.
How to enable offline mode in Gmail:
Open Google Chrome and access your Gmail account using the settings cog icon at the top right corner.
Click on ‘See all settings’ to open the settings menu.
Go to the ‘Offline’ tab.
Check the box that states ‘Enable offline mail’ to turn on offline mode for Gmail.
You can also select the required settings.
You can also choose the days of email that you want to sync with Gmail.
Once done, click the ‘Save Changes button at the bottom.
