Realme UI 4 early access now available for Realme 9i and Realme 9 Pro smartphones – Times of India
Realme announced its latest custom user interface — Realme UI 4 — based on Android 13 operating system earlier this month. The company first started testing it in beta for Realme 10 Pro series smartphones and slowly expanded it to a couple of older phones. Now, the company has announced that it has officially started rolling out the early access for Realme UI 4 for Realme 9i 5G, Realme 9 Pro 5G and Open Beta for Realme X7 Max 5G as a part of Android 13 roadmap.

Realme is currently making the Realme UI 4 early access program to a limited number of users. However, we expect it to expand in the coming weeks. The early access program will allow Realme users to experience the new features and changes that are slated to arrive with Realme UI 4 update. For starters, it brings Android 13 to Realme smartphones. Apart from that, it also includes improvements in design, interaction, fluidity and security to offer a seamless experience.
As one of the first operating systems based on the newly released Android 13, Realme UI 4.0 incorporates a number of key Android 13 features while improving four key areas: design, interaction, fluidity and security, to provide a comfortable and seamless user experience. Realme UI 4.0 will stay true to the product’s inspiration of seamless fun while also improving functionality, fluency, customizability, security, and privacy, all of which are important to young users. Realme UI 4.0 based on Android 13 brings unlimited customization options to meet Gen Z’s rich imagination and creativity.
The new UI also includes new skins with vibrant colours and around 30 new icons. Furthermore, it also brings new Omoji virtual avatars that allow users to create avatars by choosing facial shapes, skin tones, makes styles, hairstyles and accessories.
Realme UI 4.0 is also equipped with a Smart Always-On Display (AOD) feature that will help users to access multiple apps without needing to unlock the phone. Moreover, the new skin has an Insight AOD mode that will track locks and unlocks.
The new Realme UI can run up to 18 apps at a time and includes the Quantum Animation Engine 4.0 which claims to make gestures more responsive.
