CES 2023: Samsung introduces Smart Monitor M8 with 4K resolution

Samsung, at Consumer Electronic Show or CES 2023, announced the Smart Monitor M8 with new features, slim and stylish design. The Smart Monitor M8 comes in two – 32-inch and a new 27-inch options – in four colour options – Daylight Blue, Spring Green, Sunset Pink, and Warm White.

The Smart Monitor M8 comes in two display sizes – 27-inch and 32-inch – both having a 4K resolution panel. The monitor comes with a height-adjustable stand with support for tilting, giving users the option to choose the best angle. The display can now pivot 90 degrees so that users can use the monitor both horizontally and vertically. The monitor comes with support for a VESA mount.
Samsung Smart Monitor M7 offers an in-built SmartThings Hub that allows users to connect, control and manage compatible connected devices such as lights, cameras, doorbells, locks, thermostats, and more. This year onwards, the company plans to add support for Matter within the SmartThings app.
The mouse control functionality has been expanded to more apps in the Smart Monitor, including SmartThings and Smart Hub. The Smart Hub gives the user access to Prime Video, Netflix, YouTube, and other OTT apps. Further, the monitor comes with Samsung Gaming Hub built-in providing users access to different game streaming platforms.
The My Contents page of Smart Monitor shows users helpful information at a glance. When the monitor is on standby mode, the monitor will show users personalised photos, schedule, and more on the screen.
Samsung Smart Monitor M8 comes protected with Samsung Knox Vault, which encrypts personal files and information isolated from the device operating system.
The Smart Monitor M8 has an integrated SlimFit camera which now comes with 2K resolution and works with video call apps such as Google Meet.
