Lumix S5II and S5IIX: Features
The Lumix S5II and S5IIX come equipped with a new image stabilisation system for wide-ranging shooting conditions and situations. In addition to combining the body image stabilisation. in the camera and the OIS in the Lumix S Series lens, the 5-axis dual image stabilisation the correction power is maximized to allow a 6.5-stop slower shutter speed. In addition, the company has also added Active Image Stabilisation for even better video stabilisation.
The adoption of the new engine provides the Lumix S5II and S5IIX with high video performance even comparable with Lumix S1H. They provide 4:2:0 10-bit 6K (17:9 or 3:2) / 5.9K (16:9), unlimited 4:2:2 10-bit C4K/4K recording capability.
Apart from that the cameras also come with a new heat-dispersion mechanism. The Lumix S5II and S5IIX contain 14+ stop V-Log/V-Gamut capture to deliver a high dynamic range and broad colours. Plus, a REAL TIME LUT function is provided to enable colour grading on the compatible video and photo in the camera by applying the LUT(.VLT/.cube) saved in the SD memory card.
In terms of connectivity, the cameras feature Wi-Fi 5Ghz and 2.4GHz support. Along with this, it also comes equipped with Bluetooth 5.0, a USB port and more.
The cameras are backed by a 2200mAh high-capacity battery DMW-BLK22 can be recharged either via AC or USB Type C according to the user’s convenience. It also complies with USB PD (Power Delivery) when the corresponding Battery Charger DMW-BTC15 (sold separately) is used.
