Airtel expands its 5G services to Dehradun: All the details – Times of India

Bharti Airtel has launched its 5G Plus services in Dehradun. As of now, the Airtel 5G services are operational in more than 25 cities.
Currently, the services are active at Transport Nagar, Chandrabani, Balawala, Miyawala, Dehrakhas, Patel Nagar, Paltan Bazar, Niranjanpur, Sewla Kalan, Garhwali Colony, Saundhon wali, Aman Vihar, New road Race Course, Mothrowala, Ekta Vihar, Chakrata Road, Rajpur Road, and Prem Nagar in Dehradun.
Airtel added that it will augment its network to make 5G services available across the city in the course of time.

“Airtel 5G Plus services will be available to customers in a phased manner as the company continues to construct its network and complete the rollout,” it said.
“Airtel customers in Dehradun can now experience ultrafast network and enjoy speeds upto 20-30 times faster than the current 4G speeds. We are in the process of lighting the entire city which will allow customers to enjoy superfast access to High-definition video streaming, gaming, multiple chatting, instant uploading of photos, and more,” said Sovan Mukherjee, CEO, Bharti Airtel, Uttarakhand, and Uttar Pradesh.

Not just the cities, but even the airports in India also support 5G. Here’s the list:

  • Indira Gandhi International Airport – New Delhi.
  • Kempegowda International Airport – Bengaluru.
  • Lohegaon Airport – Pune.
  • Lal Bahadur Shastri International Airport – Varanasi.
  • Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar International Airport – Nagpur.

Airtel has also updated its Thanks app which now allows users to check 5G compatibility of their smartphone. Users can also check the availability of Airtel 5G Plus in their location with the help of the app. Just make sure that you have a 5G-enabled handset to use the 5G services.
