This year, Hallyu fans are in for a treat as the OTT platforms aren’t holding back in terms of K-content. There are a number of Korean dramas that are all set to release on Netflix and Disney Plus Hotstar. The list includes the second instalment of Song Hye-Kyo’s The Glory, the creature drama Sweet Home, and D.P, which evolves around the pursuit of army deserters and will mark the return of Jung Hae-in. New Korean dramas in 2023 on OTT
The Glory Part 2
Song Hye-Kyo’s Moon Dong-eun isn’t done with her assaulters. The Glory Part 2 returns to see Moon Dong-eun carry out the revenge that she has been planning for several years and avenge all the brutality that was meted out to her in high school by a group of rich bullies.

Crash Course in Romance
Everyone loves a quintessential K-drama romance. Starring Jung Kyung-ho and Jeon Do-yeon, Crash Course in Romance follow a good-hearted woman navigating the world of private education when her daughter tries to join a celebrity math instructor’s class.

The Interest of Love
Starring Moon Ga-Young and Yoon Seok-seok in the lead roles, The Interest of Love focuses on the complicated relationships between the employees at a bank and how they intertwine. Owing to deeply layered insecurities and miscommunication, Soo-young and Sang-soo decide not to date and find other people, only to realise that they’re still drawn to each other.

The show gained much popularity owing to various themes such as highlighting the bullying in the country’s 21-month military service that South Korean men must undergo.

Sweet Home Season 2
Netflix’s popular monster series Sweet Home will return with a new set of episodes this year. In the first season, we saw the characters of a residential complex witnessing their neighbours turn into monsters. However, Song Kang’s character was abducted by the military. Season 2 sees new obstacles and problems for the survivors.

Love to Hate You

On the other hand, Nam Gang-ho (Yoo) is one of South Korea’s top actors, who is loved for his romantic roles, but off-screen, he does not trust women.

Soundtrack Season 2
