The Xiaomi 13 Pro will finally leave China later this month

TL;DR

  • The Xiaomi 13 Pro will launch in India on February 26.
  • We’re expecting the series to come to global markets as well.

Xiaomi launched the Xiaomi 13 series late last year, but the company seems to be taking its time to bring the new flagship phones to global markets. Fortunately, it looks like we won’t have to wait much longer.

Xiaomi has now confirmed in an email to media that the Xiaomi 13 Pro in particular will be launching in India on February 26, 2023 at 9:30 PM IST (11 AM ET).

The company only mentioned an Indian launch in the email, but we’re guessing that this could be a global launch event as well. After all, the Chinese brand tends to offer its mainline flagships in both India, Europe, and several other global locales.

In any event, the Xiaomi 13 Pro first launched in China starting at 4,999 yuan (~$716). The device delivered a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, a 6.73-inch QHD+ curved OLED screen, IP68 rating, and a 4,820mAh battery with 120W wired charging speeds and 50W wireless topups.

Xiaomi’s phone also serves up a triple 50MP rear camera system, consisting of a 50MP one-inch main camera (IMX989), 50MP ultrawide shooter, and 50MP 3x tele lens.

Needless to say, those on the lookout for a new flagship phone might want to tune in to this launch event for more details.
