Moto Edge 40 Pro: What to expect
According to the Geekbench listing spotted by GizmoChina, the Moto Edge 40 Pro may feature an ARMv8 octa-core chipset. Three cores of this chipset will be clocked at 2.02GHz, four cores at 2.80GHz, and one core at 3.19GHz. The listing reveals that the Edge 40 Pro may come powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 flagship chip.
The listing also mentions 12GB RAM onboard, but the company is expected to offer more options during the launch. Moto Edge 40 Pro will boot Android 13 OS out of the box. The phone scored 1,480 points and 4,889 points on Geekbench’s single-core and multi-core tests, respectively.
As per the report, the Moto Edge 40 Pro is likely to sport a 6.6-inch curved OLED display that may support a Full HD+ resolution and a 165Hz refresh rate. The smartphone is also expected to house a triple camera setup which will include — a 50MP primary camera with OIS support paired with a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 12MP telephoto unit. Moto Edge 40 Pro is also expected to feature a 60MP front shooter for selfies and video calls.
The smartphone is also expected to pack a 4,600mAh battery unit that will support 125W fast wired charging and 15W wireless charging.
