Apple’s New App is designed for creative brainstorming and collaboration. The app allows users to use a lot of features.
Apple’s new Freeform app is available on the latest versions of iOS, iPadOS, and macOS. Freeform gives users a flexible canvas on which they can organize and visually lay out the content, which allows them the ability to see, share, and collaborate in a single shared space without having to worry about the layout or page size.
Since the app is designed keeping collaboration in mind, the users can invite other people to work on the board at the same time, and can even talk to each other using FaceTime while using the app. The boards created on Freeform are stored on iCloud, so the users can sync their boards across multiple devices.
How to Use the App
Freeform offers an infinite canvas in which content can be added seamlessly, allowing for unlimited flexibility that lets users to collaborate with other users on the board. The board also has built-in gestures that allow for seamless movement around the canvas.
The app also has a vast variety of brush and colour options that it gives to its users. People who have an iPhone or an iPad can draw anywhere on the board using their fingers, and Freeform also supports Apple Pencil for ease of accessibility on iPad on the go.
The app also supports a huge variety of files like photos, videos, audio files, web links, notes, PDFs, and many more. It also allows users to use their iPhone or iPad cameras to directly insert an image or a scanned document onto the board. It also has a library of shapes that gives users more than 700 options to choose from, and also allows them to change their size, and colour, add more text, or even create and save personalized shapes.
Collabing Made Easy
Freeform also allows for easy collaboration with other users at any given point. The app allows users to work with around 100 collaborators on a single board and creates a shared space for group projects. It also allows for cross-talk between collaborators by incorporating text messages and FaceTime calls.
