A new Call of Duty game could be announced on August 19

A new Call of Duty game titled ‘Vanguard’ could be announced on August 19, as per a report by DualShockers. The report is based on various rumours about the reveal of the new Call of Duty game, Vanguard.
The rumour reportedly originated from Twitter user @NEXTGEN_ishere, who claimed that the game would be revealed on August 19 at 10.45AM PDT (11:15PM IST). Not trusting the claim, DualShockers says that it tried to check for the veracity of the claim, which four people have actually vouched for. The report adds: “After several hours of waiting, four individual people had reached out and verified that something for Call of Duty: Vanguard is happening on August 19th.”
Call of Duty: Vanguard is expected to launch with the campaign, multiplayer and zombies modes. All the modes are set in the European and Pacific theatres of World War II, as per a report by VGC.
As for the reveal, no information has come out about it except the claims that it is happening and the game is being developed by Activision and Sledgehammer Games. It seems like we will have to wait a bit more for more details about the game.
Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War is the most recent game in the Call of Duty game universe. It had various game modes including Multiplayer, Campaign and Warzone and also had the Zombies mode. The single player campaign’s story revolves around a Soviet spy code-named “Perseus” who has some nefarious plans for the US and is planning an attack. Alex Mason, Frank Woods and Russell Adler are the members of the Black Ops team who are sent to infiltrate an airfield in Turkey and take out a high-value target. Black Ops Cold War came with support for cross-platform and cross-generation play as well as cross-progression.
