Telecom service provider Airtel has announced a new prepaid plan for its customers. TelecomTalk has reported that the new prepaid plan is priced at Rs 199 and offers 30 days of validity. According to the report, the Airtel Rs 199 prepaid plan exactly isn’t a new plan. The company, earlier used to offer a Rs 199 prepaid plan that offered 24 days of validity, 1GB of data and calling. Later the plan got revised with 1.5GB of data. Here’s what Airtel is offering now with the re-introduction of the Rs 199 plan.

Airtel’s Rs 199 prepaid plan comes with 30 days of validity, as mentioned above. Apart from this, the plan also offers 3GB of total data. Almost double what it used to offer. The plan also comes bundled with 300SMS for 30 days and unlimited local and STD voice calling. Additionally, users will also be able to avail of some Airtel Thanks benefits with the plan such as free Hellotunes, Wynk Music and more.
Once the allocated SMS quote is reached, Airtel will charge Rs 1 for local SMS and Rs 1.5 for STD SMS. Also, after 3GB data is exhausted, a 50p/MB charge will be applied.
The new Rs 199 plan is targeted at customers who are just looking for unlimited calling and do not require much data.
