Alleged Realme 9i design, key specifications revealed | 91mobiles.com

Realme 9 series has been confirmed by the company and is slated to debut sometime in Q1 2022. The lineup is said to include standard Realme 9, Realme 9 Pro, Realme 9 Pro+ and Realme 9i. We speculate at least two, if not all, models will have 5G network connectivity. Now, while we wait for the announcement, alleged Realme 9i renders have surfaced online, courtesy of Vietnamese website The Pixel. These reveal the entire design in full glory and it shares a lot of design similarities with the Realme GT Neo 2.

Is this the Realme 9i?

Realme 9i has a curved display on the front with slim bezels and a punch-hole cutout on the top-left corner to house the selfie snapper. The top bezel houses the microphone/speaker grille. The power button is on the right spine, while the volume rocker is on the left side. The back panel is where the triple cameras are seen arranged in a rectangular module and an LED flash. There’s the Realme logo as well. The Realme 9i can be seen in green and grey colour options.

Realme 9i specifications (expected)

Realme 9i specifications have also been tipped. It is said to flaunt a 6.5-inch FHD+ display, which probably could be an AMOLED panel and a 90Hz refresh rate. The fingerprint sensor could be placed within the screen. It is said to be powered by the MediaTek Helio G90T processor paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. It is likely to run on Android 11 OS with Realme UI custom skin and pack a 5,000mAh battery. But details regarding fast charging are not known at the moment.

The camera layout could include a 64-inch primary sensor paired with an 8MP secondary lens and a 2MP third sensor. It is said to have a 32MP snapper on the front for selfies and video chats. Since these are just early leaks, we suggest you take these with a pinch of salt and wait for more details.
