Now, the Xiaomi 13 series in addition to new Redmi devices have been spotted on EEC certification, courtesy of MySmartPrice. The Redmi devices could be the rumoured Redmi Note 12 series. The listing just reveals the model numbers of the phones but is a good indication that the launch might be soon.

The upcoming Xiaomi devices have been spotted on the EEC certification with the model numbers 2210132G and 2210133G. There are good chances that these might belong to the Xiaomi 13 series flagships. There’s literally nothing beyond the model numbers at the moment.

In a separate EEC listing, two new Redmi phones have been spotted with 22101316G and 22101316UG model numbers. The letter ‘G’ at the end could mean they are global models. All these new models have been registered under Xiaomi Communications and apart from the model numbers, the site doesn’t offer much in terms of specifications.

The Xiaomi 13 series is expected to launch before the end of this year, probably in November. They’re expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, which is expected to be unveiled by November at Qualcomm’s Tech Summit event. Rumours indicate the Xiaomi 13 series might come with a single-cell battery with a self-developed charging IC that supports 100W fast charging and 50W wireless charging. The rumoured Surge P1 chip is currently the only 100W single-cell chip solution in the industry.

As for the Redmi Note 12 series, there haven’t been many rumours about the phones but they will arrive as successors to the Redmi Note 11 lineup from earlier this year.
