AMD launches AMD Software Adrenalin Edition 22.7.1 update, brings new noise suppression technology, performance improvements and more
AMD has released its AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition 22.7.1 update. The updated version brings new additions and features to AMD-powered laptops and PCs. The feature list includes the all-new AMD Noise Suppression technology, expanded hardware support for Radeon Super Resolution upscaling technology, Minecraft performance boost, among other optimisations and enhancements to elevate the gaming experience.
AMD Noise Suppression
The new AMD Noise Suppression technology is designed to reduce background noise from the surrounding environment using a real-time deep learning algorithm. The company claims that this will provide improved audio clarity during meetings or competitive gaming sessions.
The Noise Suppression feature works with both input and output devices on AMD-powered systems and it removes unwanted background noise captured on your microphone or from someone else’s device.
OpenGL optimisations
The company claims that the Adernalin Editon update brings up to 79% increase in performance in Minecraft 4K Fabulous settings on Radeon RX 6950XT and up to 75% performance increase in Radeon RX6400.
Radeon Super Resolution (RSR)
The update also expands the support for discrete Radeon RX 5000 and 6000 series GPUs on AMD Ryzen processor notebooks with hybrid graphics. RSR has been improved to provide a more seamless experience in borderless fullscreen mode with a performance/quality slider to personalise your gaming experience.
Additionally, AMD Radeon Boost Game Support – Radeon Boost with Variable Rate Shading has been added to Elden Ring, VALORANT and Resident Evil Village have been added as well.
