Ampere Vehicles launches Magnus EX electric scooter with 121 km battery range at Rs 68,999

Ampere Electric has introduced the
Magnus EX

electric scooter
with a claimed battery mileage of 121 Km per charge at a price of Rs 68,999. The Magnus EX comes with an slanted cradle design with larger boot space and the battery can be removed and charged at home. The detachable lithium battery can be charged with any 5-amp socket at home.

“As per market observation understanding average daily runs by a normal person, any in-city commuter can drive up to 3 days in one single charge with the new Magnus EX escooter. It comes with best-in-class optimum city driving speed up to 53 kmph,” claims the company.

There’s a 1200-Watts motor which claims to deliver 0-40 Kms in 10 seconds. One can drive the Magnus EX in 2 modes – super saver eco mode and power mode. The vehicle comes with an LED headlight surrounded by unique chrome embellishments, which is stylish & reflects well in the night.

The taller people can now get superior comfort with large legroom space of 450 mm – easy to stretch and easy to stack essentials near the footboard while driving. The scooter has a unique footrest and grab handles for women pillion riders.

There’s a 3-years warranty covering major aggregates, assurance of aftercare. Other features include keyless entry, vehicle finder, anti-theft alarm, wide seats for driving comfort, under seat large storage space and boot light to easily identify items. It comes in colours like Metallic red, Graphite black and Galactic Grey.
