NEW DELHI: HMD Global, the company that holds the license to manufacture Nokia branded smartphones, has now started rolling out the Android 12 update. Nokia X20, is the first smartphone of the company to receive Android 12 update.
At the time of the launch of Nokia X20, the company promised to offer three years of software and security updates to the smartphone. Now, keeping to its promise, the company has started rolling out the Android 12 update for the smartphone.
The update weighs 2.18GB in size and comes with build version V2.350. The update is being rolled out in phases and the first wave countries to receiving the update include Austria, Belgium, Croatia (Tele2, Vipnet), Denmark, Egypt, Estonia, Finland, Germany, Hong Kong, Hungary (Telenor HU), Iceland, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Latvia, Lebanon, Lithuania, Luxembourg
Malaysia, Netherlands (Tele2 NL, VF, T-Mobile), Norway, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia (O2 – SK), Spain, Sweden, Switzerland.
With this update, the Nokia X20 users will be able to experience Android 12 features like privacy dashboard, remote app, better WiFi sharing, one-hand mode, Material You interface and more.
Nokia X20 specifications
Nokia X20 comes with a 6.67-inch FHD+ display with 1080×2400 pixel resolution. The smartphone is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 chipset paired with 6GB/8GB of RAM.
The smartphone offers 128GB internal storage which can be expanded up to 512GB by adding a microSD card. Nokia X20 runs Android 12 operating system and comes equipped with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
The smartphone features a triple rear camera with 48MP main camera, 5MP ultra wide camera and a 2MP macro camera. Front is home to an 8MP selfie camera in the front.
The smartphone comes with IP52 rating which makes it splash resistant. Nokia X20 is backed by a 4470mAh battery with 18W fast charging support.
